İtalya’da 6 Ay ESC Gönüllülük Projesi

Our work intends to face the increasing level of youth marginalization by promoting empowerment and active citizenship through non-formal education, addressing the need for inclusive societies in Europe where young people can take action and contribute to their growth, as well as the well-being of the community. The activities will take place in Palermo, in contact with young people and families, natives and migrants; these will be guided through NFE and human rights and peace education methodologies, as common approaches shared by all partner organizations. Active and participatory techniques based on “learning by doing”, cooperative learning, outdoor activities, creative expression, and e-learning will be used. In this context; 2 volunteers will be sent for 6 months. Please review the infopack for more information and then apply:

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Accommodation costs will be fully covered. Volunteers will be accommodated in a flat with double and triple rooms, 2 shared bathrooms, one shared kitchen, and balconies. Food will be also covered by the Hosting organization – CEIPES. Local transportation support will be provided and also SIM card will be given. Travel support up to 275 Euros for visa, flight ticket, travel insurance, taxes etc. (will be covered by sending organization) – Daily pocket money will be provided by Sending organization also – Health insurance will be made free of charge by CIGNA.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

Pre-arrival training will be provided to the participants by sending organization. They will also be able to learn a foreign language during the project through OLS. Attention: Please make your applications with your Europass CV in English and with your project-specific motivation letter. Otherwise, it will not be considered. PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Between 18 and 30; -Strong motivation and connection towards CEIPES’ activities and values; -Interest in getting involved in activities with young people at risk of marginalization and supporting their integration; -Interested in learning about new cultures and exchange of experiences; -Available to participate for all project duration; -Available to attend the follow-up phase, writing an article containing experiences of the volunteers involved and gathering the best practices for a successful ESC volunteering experience, and carrying out the dissemination activities of the project’s
