ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Short-term group volunteering project in Veliki Preslav town, Bulgaria. Volunteers will help: • Work with local children, youth in Boarding games and activities in historical topics; • Helping in archaeological ruins Old capital Preslav and Archaeological museum (www.archaeopreslav.com) • Historical and cultural awareness and actions for populating the region. ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Accommodation: 4 or 6 youth will share a flat/house. Food: the first 3 days will be ensured for the whole group, after that the volunteers have to prepare their food by themslef. Transport will be covered according to the rules of the program ESC and EU distance calculator.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

On-arrival training – first 3 days. Training for work with children and youth – 3 days. Entering-job training – 1 day. Evaluation training – last day

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Working language – English (or 1 of participants have to know English very good and to help of the rest of the participants from the same country); Participants with one of the mentioned interest: – that study Archaeology or History or unemployment youth people with interest in the topic, – participants that interesting to participate in advertising and activities for publicity and visibilities are more then welcome, – like to work with students and pupils in outdoor activities. An experience in youth programs is not obligatory
