ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The activities are divided into the following sessions: – WEEKLY SCHEDULE; – OFFICE WORK AND EVALUATIONS – SUSTAINABILITY AND AUTONOMY WORKSHOPS – ICT SOLIDARITY NETWORKING WORKSHOPS: VOLUNTEERING YOUTH OPPORTUNITY – PROMOTION OF THE VOLUNTARY SERVICE – ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP AND SENSE OF BELONGING – INFORMAL LEARNING
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteers will be hosted in a shared flat with kitchen, living room, shared sleeping rooms, shared bathroom. The apartment is shared with other ESC volunteers, everyone is responsible for taking care for the flat – cleaning, shopping and cooking. Each month every volunteer has the right to receive a pocket money and food. There is no need for transport because the working and living place is 15 min away. When the venue of the activities will be different from the design d one, the volunteers will move by car with the staff.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
The volunteers will attend: -mandatory trainings organized by the Italian National Agency; – OLS language platform. By TdG: – arrival training; – basic Language Training Course to help the volunteers to integrate in local environment and activity work – a basic training for the daily activities; – Planning and organization of educational and training activities; – Management and implementation of training projects, in particular, the Erasmus + Program; – Analysis, planning, monitoring and evaluation of educational and training interventions; – Trainings by our network.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
WE ACCEPT CANDIDATURES ONLY ON THIS ESC PLATFORM We expect someone open minded, flexible, interested in italian culture and language, open to learn in every moment of their project, who enjoys contact with people of all ages. A person comfortable with children as well as with adults. A person who feels motivated to do projects with young people. Ideally, we would like to find a young person who gives his opinion while listening to others.
