ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Through this activity, participants will acquire entrepreneurial and craft skills and increase cultural awareness by participating in a series of content that promotes and encourages cultural diversity, creativity, and generational renewal in the craft sector. The activity was developed on the methods of non-formal education that encourage the exchange of knowledge, the development of creativity and feelings for an initiative among young people. This activity offers the possibility of autonomous creative activities to volunteers. The foreseen tasks are practical crafting activities, development of local and national projects focused on promoting youth entrepreneurship as well as participation and organization of networking events in crafts segment. Participants will design and implement activities on an Eco educational farm of the hosting organization.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Accommodation and food allowance, as well as pocket money (in line with ESC programme rules) are provided by the hosting organization. Transport to and from the project venue will be reimbursed in accordance with European Distance Calculator. Local transport related to the service is provided by the hosting organization.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Volunteer will take part in regular trainings organized by the National agency. During the service, volunteer will be provided with Erasmus+ and ESC introductory training by the hosting organization.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Participation is free and accessible to all young people, including those with disabilities regardless of their ethnic group, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, etc. We are looking for participants with the following profile: – Age 18-30. – Fluent in English. – Motivated to work with children and young people. – Motivated to live and work in a rural surrounding. – Interested in nature, sustainability, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. – Independent and proactive. – Good team player.
