**** Full info: https://bit.ly/3e4KPmJ Please read the full call and apply as specified in the call through the application form that you can download here: hhttps://bit.ly/3uJIXWu- Please do not apply through the portal! ***** The main aim of the project is to offer the opportunity of learning with OBESSU for an enthusiastic individual who is interested to work & develop in areas such as membership engagement, capacity building & communications, with the goal of fostering school students’ voice in Europe. Among others, the volunteer will: – Gain valuable insights regarding school student activism and topics related to school student activism, membership, communications and educational policy – Have the opportunity to develop their competencies and skills in the fields of membership, outreach and communication; – Have the opportunity to create an impact on society, by engaging with activities and processes of OBESSU and its partner organisations.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The participant will receive a financial subsidy of a maximum amount of 945 EUR per month for the accommodation, local travel costs, food and pocket money. The host organisation (OBESSU) will support the volunteer in finding accommodation in Brussels. Travel costs to and from Brussels will be covered by OBESSU up to the amount of 360 EUR, and in accordance with the Erasmus+ distance calculator. Health insurance will be covered as part of the project for the entire duration of the volunteering period.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
OBESSU will closely cooperate with the selected volunteer in defining the interest of work and facilitate the development of the volunteer, both professionally and personally, to ensure that there is the highest possible experience and learning.. Together with the volunteer, OBESSU will develop the working programme for the year, and will provide support to the volunteer in defining their learning goals. During the volunteering period, the volunteer will also have access to learning a new language. Classes will be provided as part of the project through an Online Learning platform.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
– Young person between the ages of 18 – 30; – Interested in experiencing an international context; – Motivated and creative individual interested in school student and youth participation; – An individual willing to develop sector-specific skills and competences (with specific emphasis on membership, outreach and communications); – Willing to adapt to different situations and develop their own initiatives & projects (with the support of the rest of the team); – Interested in the work of OBESSU and the membership Priority will be given to people coming from nderrepresented groups.
