Hırvatistan/Daruvar’da 2 Ay ESC Gönüllülük Projesi

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Through the activity of intergenerational realization, children and young people of Impress, together with volunteers, continue to actively engage with all generations, throughout the year, to exchange knowledge, experience, community contribution, new project development, custom conservation and humanitarian assistance to the community. One of the concrete activities that will take place at Impress Association is regular visits to alertly houses, visits to the Association of Persons with Disabilities in Daruvar. Through these activities, Impress Association prepares workshops that strengthens the connection between the generations in a solidary way, sharing knowledge an experience (songs, dancing workshops, making creative materials, ecological, foreign language and culture workshops). The goal is to strengthen the community through solidary activities and the development of self-esteem and the confidence of all people to have a healthier community.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

We will provide accommodation in shared rooms (hostel or house type) two to three people per room. Food will be arranged based on COVID-19 situation, so all meals we will provide in our association or we can organise delivery to accommodation. This will be organised upon arrival of volunteers. Transport to Daruvar is based on erasmus distant band calculator.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

Upon arrival we will have welcome/orientational training where we will give all specific information about project and organise schedule for volunteering team.
