ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The International Educational Film Festival (FIFE) is a cultural cinematographic event that tells stories of education and citizenship, to promote committed cinema, educate young audiences, train professionals and create sharing with different audiences ( from kindergarten to university, through the family, the hospital). , prison, …). This festival offers cultural support before, during or after the screening to explore perspectives, questions and debates on current issues in our society. Be part of the team! 6 missions have been identified: → Assistance with animation → Assistance with reception → Assistance with placement → Assistance with filming (photo and film) → communication in the city → creative project. Meetings with the CEMEA associative network: Jean Villard theater, UTOPIA cinema, La Case student association, Beau Temps Collectif, Halle Tropisme and Mauguio Carnon’s Maison des Jeunes

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

We cover all costs related to travel, local transport in Montpellier, accommodation (probably in a youth hostel with other volunteers) and activities within the association. You will receive a food allowance and pocket money upon arrival, which you will manage independently during your stay.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

You will benefit from – training on the theme of cultural support for the spectator – training on animation on the theme of interculturality – a presentation of the French associative system – non-formal French language courses

PROFILE PARTICIPANT

We are looking for people interested in meeting new people, open to new cultures and motivated to contribute to our film festival. You must demonstrate initiative, friendliness, curiosity and openness. Be interested in organizing a cultural event and organize activities around films. Share the values of interculturality, equality and tolerance. And have the ability to work in a multicultural team!
