ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

As ABB, we will ensure that 30 disadvantaged volunteers in total will participate in the activities of our partners in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Macedonia and Russia, based on the experiences we have gained in previous projects. The target group of our project is the growing Z generation. The goals and objectives of the project; – To determine the interests of Generation Z, which has a high percentage of the country and the world’s population, and to define the needs of the generation z in order to produce projects for them. -To encourage the youth of generation Z to volunteer activities with volunteering activities and common teaching technique. -To support the participation of generation Z youth in international relations, to improve their communication skills with the activities to be carried out, to ensure their socialization and to produce projects for their needs for future projects. – To create the opportunity for these young people, who live in the digital environment.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

The volunteer will be accommodated in a flat with other ESC volunteers. The flat is fully equipped with 4 separate bedrooms, a shared kitchen, dining room and 2 bathrooms. Each person will have its own bedroom with a nice view. Each volunteer will have their own bicycles and volunteers will be using it for his/her personal transportation. Home is located close to the center and it will be a 15 to 20 minutes bicycle ride to our office. Volunteers will be managing the tasks of daily life in teams (shopping, cooking, and cleaning). Team members from our organization will come and pick you up.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

The volunteer will be learning about Erasmus+ projects, specifically about KA1 action (youth exchanges, training courses, seminars and European Solidarity Corps Projects). Volunteers will be trained about the creation of electronic journals and will learn to use the Canva design program. Every Monday there will be a meeting with a mentor where one can talk about both professional and personal matters. Timetable: the young volunteers will work 30 hours per week with a daily distribution following: 9h/14h00 – and 1 afternoon 17h00/19h00 from Monday to Friday. During their stay the volunteer

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We are looking for open-minded, creative and responsible young people who speak English and want to improve their soft skills. The volunteers should have an interest in youth work and be eager to work in an office where we prepare activities , respond to emails and promote Erasmus+ projects through social media. This project is meant for young people who would like to gain experience, learn new skills and connect with other volunteers from all over Europe. This offer is openned to 18 to 30 years old young people that want to live a first short experience to discover the volunteering.
