ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The project will be attended by 12 volunteers who will conduct 40 days of volunteer work in the town of Balchik and Yailata. The activities will take place in the summer of 2021 and include the following activities: – 30 days in Balchik – volunteers will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the historical, natural, the botanical and architectural riches of the complex, which is It was designed by Italian architects and is inhabited by the Romanian Queen Maria, who left their culture, aristocracy and aesthetics. With the help of a mentor, volunteers will take part in support archaeological activities and in the care of the unique plant species in the botanical garden. – 10 days in the National Archaeological Reserve “Yailata” – volunteers will touch on ancient European history and life and will be able to contribute to their preservation and promotion.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We expect 6 volunteers, some of whom with Fewer Opportunities – Health problems, economic constraints and from isolated geographical areas. Criteria for participation – motivation for volunteering in the field of history and culture, natural resources and their preservation and protection, desire for new skills and personal development, teamwork and promotion of European values.
